Our mission

OKREH MEDIA offers eBooks and audio books for download, printed books and video courses. With these products, our customers learn to do useful and exciting things, such as successfully treating various diseases themselves, making medicines, food, cosmetics and care products from plants and fruits they have collected themselves, and much more.

Agnes says: I myself come from a part of the world where most people don't have health insurance and therefore only a few can afford a doctor. These people depend on self care and self-help, but they need the necessary knowledge to do so. Years ago, while working in the medical field, I saw a young boy die from a wound infection caused by his mother's improper treatment. There was no money for professional help. But even in countries like the United States or Germany, some sick people wait weeks or months for help, especially with mental illnesses. The capacities are not sufficient.

OKREH MEDIA is developing a series called "Betelgeuse - Learning Self Care". This is a series of products that show people how to help themselves in critical life situations. First and foremost for health reasons, but also in general.

Kap Verde - a jewel in Africa

The Cape Verde Islands are a group of volcanic islands in the Atlantic Ocean. They are about 550 km away from Senegal on the west coast of Africa. Until 1975, Cape Verde belonged to Portugal, so many things are of course reminiscent of the times as a Portuguese colony.

Cape Verde is one of the African countries with a comparatively better standard of living. Unfortunately there is also a lot of poverty, but the locals are open-minded and friendly. Luckily, mass tourism is a foreign word on the islands, but Sal and Boa Vista in particular are well frequented by guests from all over the world.

The landscape is unique and has a lot to offer, such as the wide beaches on Boa Vista, volcanoes up to almost 3000 meters heigth (Fogo), green hilly landscapes and desert-like regions. There are no poisonous animals in Cape Verde. The Atlantic around the archipelago is almost not fished industrially and therefore an exceptionally large variety of fish, sea turtles and even whales live in the water, which occasionally pass by on their migrations

We help the poor ones

10% of OKREH MEDIA's income goes to people in Cape Verde who urgently need help. First and foremost, we support children who no longer have parents and live on the streets. But we also help people who need urgent medical treatment or surgery and cannot pay for it themselves.
